Airmousse brand is developed in Sweden. The brand started in 2015 from a direct connection to motocross and enduro riding. The goal was not to follow existing solutions but to improve them. Early on it became clear that ground contact, consistency are more critical than most riders expect and that existing mousse products did not fully deliver in these areas.
Since the introduction of first ever mousse inserts to the market in the 1980s, the concept has remained largely the same. While different formulas have been developed over time, many of the same limitations have remained. Performance inconsistency, changes in feel during use, limited adjustability have been accepted as part of the product.
Airmousse was built to challenge that.
From the beginning, the focus has been on material development, perfect fit and long term consistency. Instead of short term performance, the priority is predictable brand that always delivers consistent quality in all areas.
Over the years, Airmousse has developed multiple product ranges to meet different riding demands. The main categories included Race Performance line by covering motocross, enduro, soft enduro and extreme conditions. The same level of quality is applied across all Airmousse products. From mousse inserts to gels and supporting products. Every detail is designed to work together as one system and deliver consistent performance.
Today, Airmousse products are used by a wide range of riders from amateurs to professionals. Regardless of level, the expectation remains the same. Reliable feel, stable performance and confidence in all conditions.

Mousse – nyckelfaktorer
Beskrivning
En ”mousse” (franska för skum) är i enkla termer en solid skumgummislang. Detta produktkoncept introducerades ursprungligen av det franska däckföretaget Michelin på marknaden för terrängmotorcyklar år 1984. Trots att flera företag under åren har utvecklat olika mousse-formler kan prestanda och livslängd variera beroende på den exakta sammansättningen I produkten. Av den anledningen har inte alla moussar lika egenskaper och prestanda.
För- och nackdelar
Generellt sett är den mest kända och betydande fördelen med att använda en mousse att den inte blir platt. Men denna produkt har också flera nackdelar, som en långsam återfjädring eller en icke-progressiv effekt i dess hanterbarhet. Experter inom branschen refererar ofta till denna effekt som en ”DÖD” känsla. Känslan av instabilitet kan påverka motorcykelns manövrerbarhet och dragkraft. Detta är en nackdel som tidigare varit tvunget att accepteras eftersom moussen ej är justerbar (som pneumatiska system eller innerslangar). Som en solid skumenhet är moussar generellt sett tyngre än de flesta slangar och den ”döda” känslan nämnd ovan bidrar bara till denna känsla av tyngd.
